Turnkey Promotions Announces Partnership with Hope In Motion Walk, Run & Ride
100% of Donations Raised Support The Bennett Cancer Center

(Richmond, VA- May 12, 2010): Turnkey Promotions, a Richmond-based promotions company specializing in nonprofit fundraising incentive programs, announced today that it will partner with the Stamford Hospital’s Hope In Motion Walk, Run & Ride event to benefit the Bennett Cancer Center.

The 15th Anniversary of Hope In Motion Walk, Run & Ride will take place on Sunday June 6, 2010 in downtown Stamford, Connecticut. This year the fundraising goal is $1 million and, with 4500 people expected, is the largest fundraising event in Fairfield County. Funds raised will be used to provide the programs and services offered at the Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center.

The Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital provides a variety of support services for cancer patients including an Integrative Medicine Program, transportation to and from treatment, grants to help with expenses, yoga and tai chi classes, a Nurse Navigation program, a post-treatment individualized Exercise and Nutrition Program and more. The funds raised by the participants and sponsors of the Hope in Motion event allows these programs to be offered to BCC patients at no charge.

“We are excited to be asked to help this cancer center,” says Turnkey CEO, Katrina VanHuss. “Working directly with the service provider is incredibly gratifying.”

“Our program was ready to move to the next level,” says Director of Special Events, Fern Pessin, Stamford Hospital Foundation. She adds, “We have challenged Turnkey Promotions to increase the amount each individual participant raises and we are confident that their incentive program will help us reach our goal this year. We look forward to the results.”
