Turnkey Promotions Announces Release of Third Nonprofit Fundraising Study
Reviewed: How one nonprofit used a grassroots fundraising approach to its capital campaign to realize nearly 200% over goal.

(Richmond, VA- July 8, 2010): Turnkey Promotions, a Richmond-based promotions company specializing in nonprofit fundraising incentive programs, announced today that it has published the third in a series of fundraiser incentive program research studies. In this study, Turnkey publishes the methods and results the nonprofit One Home Many Hopes used to gain almost 200% over fundraising goal for the Breaking Ground campaign – a campaign to raise funds for the nonprofit’s Kenyan orphans. This study is a follow up to the FirstGiving and Turnkey Promotions Webinar on the subject and offers a more in-depth analysis.

This case study explores the fundamental differences between capital campaigns and grassroots techniques. It also describes in detail the incentive program administered by Turnkey Promotions including what products were used and what redemption rate was realized.

“What is really interesting about this case study is that we saw a capital campaign using proven event-based grassroots fundraising techniques, like implementing a team-based structure and a fundraiser incentive program, to raise money,” says Turnkey Promotions’ CEO, Katrina VanHuss. “This could signal an alternative strategy for capital campaign fundraisers. In fact, we are currently administering several other capital / grassroots campaigns. We plan to document the results as they become available,” she adds.

Turnkey Promotions new incentive program research, titled “How One Nonprofit Realized Nearly 200% Over Fundraising Campaign Goal,” is available for downloaded on Turnkey Promotions’ nonprofit website, http:www.turnkeywow.com/nonprofit.
